ABA releases Business Law book on navigating the information universe
CHICAGO, Jan. 13, 2020 — With new technology comes new information-related business benefits and legal risks. To help make sense of a company's information universe, the American Bar Association Business Law Section has published “The Executive’s Guide to Navigating the Information Universe,” which provides an understanding of “everything information” that may impact a company. This valuable resource covers business and legal implications of Big Data, records retention, information security, Internet of Things and more.
This 204-page easy-to-use primer, written by Randolph A. Kahn and Eugene Stavrou, is a comprehensive guide arranged into 20 rules that provide an overarching understanding of “everything information.” Each rule includes an Executive Takeaway, Background Information and Business and Legal Implications.
About the authors:
Randolph A. Kahn is an acclaimed speaker, advisor and author of dozens of published works including “Privacy Nation,” “Information Nation: Seven Keys to Information Management Compliance” and “E-Mail Rules.” He is a frequent contributor to the ABA’s Business Law Today.
